Hanging With Friends Bonus Tiles

Here's a quick explanation of the bonus tiles in Hanging with Friends:

  • DL: Double Letter - Dropping a letter on a blank area with this tile will earn double the letter score.
  • TL: Triple Letter - If you place a letter on the empty space with this tile you will get a bonus of triple that letter’s score.
  • DW: Double Word - If you play a letter with this tile the total of all the points in the word are doubled.
  • TW: Triple Word - The one to watch! If you make a play on this tile, the bonus is 3x the total of all the points for that word.
